Assalamualaikum & Hi 😀
How is your business so far? I hope and pray all of us are doing good with our business, InsyaAllah.
Anyway, the moment when people started running their businesses, I'm pretty sure we will remember our firstttt ever client/customer who bought our goods or hire our services. I still remember the feeling of how we get our first ever customer, it was really motivate us to grow bigger and bigger.
The first ever client that I'm talking about here is not a customer from your circle of friends or relatives. I'm talking about a customers who are totally strangers to you. Not even a friend to your friends/family. To start a business, you definitely have to market yourself/your business to people around you in order for you to gain experience, get support and to get some motivation from them. But to get to know how far or how good you are doing with your marketing plan, having a strangers as your customer/client can be the indicator on how effective is your marketing plan.
So back to our story, our first client was from a cafe owner! Alhamdulillah..the moment we received her call, she never mention that she owned a cafe. She asked for a delivery and that was the first time we met. We had quite a long conversation. Ainie asked her where did she found us and she replied "First i got attracted by one of your photo. Im not sure how I found that particular photo, but from that one photo, it bring me to your instagram account (TheJoyOfBakingWithAinie's instagram) to see what else do you have, and i found what im looking for."
Alhamdulillah, it shows that our idea of having 'outstanding' pictures for our social media (especially Instagram) started to show the result. With this experience, it strengthen the article that we had come across saying that :
I hope by sharing this business experience will bring benefits to all of us, InsyaAllah.
Wallahu a'lam.

- In an ecommerce site, 67% of consumers say the quality of a product image is “very important” in selecting and purchasing a product
- In an online store, customers think that the quality of a products image is more important than product-specific information (63%), a long description (54%) and ratings and reviews (53%)
